Once you’ve created a list of potential builders you should meet with each one of them in person. This meeting will allow you to understand how the builder works and enable you to ask them questions about the building process. If you meet with several builders, ask them all the same questions and compare their answers. Treat it like an interview. Your relationship with the builder will continue through the warranty period. Choose someone with whom you will be comfortable with for the long term.
